BOOK DESIGN • VISUAL IDENTITY/ BRANDING
Project Brief
Modeled after Humans of New York, Humans of Cranston showcases and celebrates the stories of Cranston residents through their diversity, community involvement, and unique life perspectives.
The Proposal
Create a book that revolves around captivating stories and portraits of residents. This unique book will be shared with the community, offering insight into the lives of their neighbors.

What is Humans of Cranston?
The "Humans of Cranston" initiative is part of the OneCranston Health Equity Zone. The initiative involves interviewing Cranston residents to feature them in a column in the Cranston Herald and on social media.

The stories depicted in this book are a collection of stories featured between July 2022 and April 2023. This project was made possible by a Rhode Island Foundation Community Grant and the efforts of the OneCranston Health Equity Zone of Comprehensive Community Action, Inc. in partnership with the Cranston Herald and Timothy McFate, a local Cranston photographer.
