Transforming complex information into engaging visual content
Communicating complex concepts to an audience with limited background knowledge can be quite challenging.
At MIT, I had the opportunity to work with various departments and student clubs to create engaging STEM activities for children and their families. From exploring microbial activity to understanding asteroids and planetary orbits, I developed instructional sheets to help everyone follow along with hands-on activities.

I teamed up with grad students from MIT Civil and Environmental Engineering program to put together a activity sheet all about microbes.

BELOW: The finished instructional sheet. It’s double-sided— one side is perfect for little ones ages 7 and up to follow along, while the other side is designed for grown-up participants to help explain everything!

In another STEM activity, we collaborated with an astrophysicist and author to develop visual content about asteroids and comets.
Below are the final instructional sheets I designed and created with alongside Dr. Marc Kuchner and his team to explain a fun hands-on activity about creating DIY comets.
